…an open space where we can find deeper dimension of who we are. It is where we attune our spirit with the Spirit of God and have inner peace and joy.
Psalm 46:10a says, “Be still and know that I am God…” The Apostle Paul said, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)
In John 1:29-42, after baptizing Jesus at the Jordan River, John saw him again and said, “There is the Lamp of God,” then testify that he saw the Holy Spirit coming upon Jesus and stayed with him. Jesus is filled with the Spirit. He is in the stillness, the quiet center that draws unto him those who longs for peace and joy.
Christ has shown us the way. Let the Spirit of God flow into our life. Let us always be reminded with the Psalmist words, “Be still and Know that I am God..” Amen.
